SMEs receive recognition and rewards from CandourCrest

CandourCrest Financial Services Limited has rewarded three small and medium-scale enterprises as part of its efforts to support startups.

In a statement by the firm, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Debola Agunbiade, disclosed this during the company’s 5th anniversary.

He reiterated the company’s dedication to supporting young businesses.

Agunbiade stated that CandourCrest had presented grants to the three SMEs, noting that the firm was committed to providing financial solutions and building strong relationships with its stakeholders.

He added that the firm had significantly grown its clientele and completed transactions totalling over N16bn in the past five years of incorporation.

Agunbiade remarked, “We especially wish to thank all our clients for their dedication and loyalty to our success. As we always emphasise, it is not just about business for us; it is about partnership.

“Over the years, I have come to realise that challenges should never discourage us. Instead, they are the most powerful catalysts for growth. I dare say you should ride on them.”

He added that the company provided financial and leasing services anchored on integrity and transparency, with a mission to support economic growth and development.

“CandourCrest is committed to giving back to the community, supporting SMEs, schools, churches, and women’s programs.

“The company has been recognised for its innovative services with accolades such as Africa’s Most Innovative Loan and Credit Service Brand Award 2023 and the FCMB SheVentures Women in Business segment recognition,” he declared.

Also, an Independent Director of CandourCrest Finance Limited, Dr Oluseyi Olanrewaju, remarked, “In terms of corporate governance, which is the bedrock of any organisation, I can confidently say that CandourCrest is very stringent. It has assembled a versatile board with members from diverse backgrounds.”

On his part, the Chief Executive Officer of Logik Field Limited, Olusegun Akanji, said the effort CandourCrest had put into assisting its clients was remarkable, adding that he had referred several clients to the organisation because of its outstanding service.

He also noted that in its initial years of operation, CandourCrest had emerged as one of the foremost Central Bank of Nigeria-licensed financial institutions in Nigeria.

“As CandourCrest looks to the future, it remains committed to its vision of becoming the preferred and most trusted Pan-African financial service partner. With aspirations to expand globally, the company is poised for continued growth and impact,” Akanji added.
