The Swarovski Foundation is inviting young innovators worldwide to apply for its esteemed “Creatives for Our Future” programme. This global initiative, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), seeks to empower young visionaries by offering a substantial grant of €20,000 (N35 million) to each selected winner.
The programme, open to applicants aged 21 to 30, aims to foster innovative projects in fields such as fashion, design, art, architecture, and engineering. It encourages young creatives engaged in original projects that leverage the creative process to promote sustainability.

In partnership with the United Nations Office for Partnerships, the Swarovski Foundation supports groundbreaking ideas that address global challenges. To date, the programme has funded 21 pioneering projects led by young innovators working on sustainability and development issues.
Success Stories:
- Joshua Ichor (Nigeria): Developed a hand pump monitoring system and clean water kiosk for rural communities in sub-Saharan Africa. His project delivers over 50,000 liters of clean water daily, benefiting 10,000 people. With the programme’s support, Joshua has expanded his efforts into Kenya and Uganda.
- Stanley Anigbogu (Nigeria): Created the AVATAR Station, an eco-friendly energy solution repurposing electronic waste and plastic bottles. His solar-powered hub, built from recycled shipping containers, provides clean energy and educational resources on climate change. Stanley also launched the Eco Heroes programme, educating children on renewable energy.
