Company launches AI tool for small and medium enterprises

Durubata Limited has launched Appmint, an AI-powered, no-code platform crafted to boost profitability and cut operational costs for small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) throughout Africa. The platform aims to tackle the common challenges faced by African entrepreneurs, such as high tech infrastructure costs and overly complex tools.

At the recent launch in Lagos, CEO Jacob Ajiboye shared his vision for Appmint, describing it as an all-in-one ecosystem that combines essential business functions. With Appmint, users can build websites, automate business processes, manage customer relationships, and access data-driven insights without needing advanced technical skills. “More than just offering tools, we provide a complete ecosystem,” Ajiboye stated, emphasizing Appmint’s role as a strategic partner for SME growth across Africa.

Ajiboye also highlighted Appmint’s commitment to social impact by aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly by supporting initiatives aimed at empowering local businesses and communities.

In alignment with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, which advocates for quality education, Appmint has introduced free training programs aimed at equipping young Africans with coding and development skills, positioning them for success in the global digital landscape. CEO Jacob Ajiboye emphasized this commitment to empowering African youth, with the goal of nurturing a skilled workforce that will help drive the continent’s digital future.

Ajiboye further described Appmint’s approach as agile and collaborative, working hand-in-hand with startups to accelerate their growth and transform ideas into successful ventures. “We don’t just serve as a platform—we are a partner in success, creating local impact with global reach,” he noted, highlighting the platform’s potential to effect widespread change across the African business landscape.

Concluding his vision for Appmint, Ajiboye remarked, “Appmint is more than a platform—it is a catalyst for transformation.” He envisions a future where African businesses are at the forefront of global innovation, with Appmint as their trusted partner on this journey.
Together, we will build a future where African businesses lead the way,” Ajiboye declared, envisioning a collaborative approach to drive innovation and growth.

In her presentation, business consultant Seun Tayo-Balogun emphasized Appmint’s tailored approach to address the unique needs of African businesses. She highlighted that the platform provides an accessible, cost-effective path for entrepreneurs and SMEs to scale in a competitive digital marketplace.

Tayo-Balogun explained that by eliminating the requirement for extensive technical knowledge or substantial financial investments, Appmint empowers African startups to succeed and grow. “Our platform makes it possible for entrepreneurs to thrive in a digital-first world, even if they lack in-depth technical skills,” she stated, underscoring Appmint’s potential to transform business operations across Africa.
